Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of applicable work experience, preferably in a call center, appointment scheduling, customer service or medical office setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Manages high volume calls and responds to patient inquiries.
• Schedules patient appointments per internal guidelines.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
• Directs questions to the appropriate resource and supports referral sources.
• Assists with Epic Work Queues as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
