A prominent AmLaw 200 firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Property & Casualty Insurance practice in Miami, Florida. You will handle sophisticated insurance coverage disputes, including bad-faith matters, in a collaborative environment that values initiative, teamwork, and exceptional client service.

The position offers growth, mentorship, and meaningful courtroom exposure within a nationally respected business litigation practice.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record and writing skills.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Substantive experience handling bad-faith insurance matters.
• Understanding of insurance coverage and bad-faith issues.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurers and clients in complex insurance coverage litigation.
• Analyze policies, exclusions, and pertinent case law.
• Handle bad-faith claims and related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare analyses on coverage issues.
• Manage matters with court and client deadlines.
• Communicate case developments, strategy, and next steps to clients.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on litigation strategy.
• Contribute to a service-oriented team with responsiveness and high-quality work.
