Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is assisting a prominent AmLaw 200 firm in identifying an Associate Attorney for its Property & Casualty Insurance practice in Miami, FL.

The role focuses on sophisticated insurance coverage disputes, including bad-faith matters, in a hybrid MSO environment. The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier school, Florida bar in good standing, and 3–6 years of coverage-litigation experience, with strong research and writing skills and a proven client-service

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record and demonstrated writing skills
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing, required.
• 3–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
• Substantive experience handling bad-faith insurance matters
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance coverage and bad-faith issues
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated commitment to responsiveness and outstanding client service
• Federal judicial clerkship or state appellate clerkship experience is a plus

Aufgaben

• Represent insurers and other clients in complex insurance coverage litigation
• Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, exclusions, and applicable case law
• Handle bad-faith claims and related insurance disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses regarding coverage and bad-faith issues
• Manage matters efficiently while meeting court, client, and internal deadlines
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, strategy, risk, and recommended next steps
• Collaborate with partners, associates, clients, and other professionals to develop effective litigation strategies
• Contribute to a service-oriented team environment that values drive, responsiveness, and high-quality work
