Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an Insurance Associate Attorney to join its Property & Casualty practice in a hybrid Miami, Florida environment. The role focuses on sophisticated coverage disputes, including bad-faith matters, with a collaborative, client-service oriented culture.

Requirements include a JD from a top-tier law school, active Florida Bar admission, and 3–6 years of coverage litigation experience; clerkship is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.

• Experience handling bad-faith insurance matters.
• Clerkship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurers and clients in complex insurance coverage litigation.
• Analyze policies, coverage issues, exclusions, and case law.
• Handle bad-faith claims and related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare analyses on coverage and bad-faith issues.
• Manage matters efficiently with deadlines and client communications.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, clients, and professionals on strategy.
• Contribute to a service-oriented team with responsiveness and high-quality work.
