Job summary

BankUnited seeks an Organizational Development Specialist to lead and coordinate talent initiatives across the Go for More Academy, strengthening leadership capability and employee growth. You will facilitate programs, manage data, and produce insights for leadership decisions in a hybrid Miami Lakes environment.

You will engage in succession planning, development pathways, and competency frameworks while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity across talent systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in organizational development or related HR functions.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, ATD, DiSC, MBTI or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, coordinate, and execute organizational development and talent management programs.
• Manage day-to-day execution of high-potential development programs, including selection and logistics.
• Independently facilitate recurring leadership and organizational effectiveness programs.
• Deliver communications and training to support leaders undergoing change.
• Support performance management processes, including communications and cycle activities.
• Administer employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and prepare reports.
• Conduct organizational assessments to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate career pathing initiatives and development planning support.
• Help create leadership competency frameworks and development pathways.
• Maintain talent data, 9-box, succession slates, and related reporting.
• Generate dashboards and insights for talent-related decision-making.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure high-quality participant experiences.
