Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking a Senior Talent Development Lead to partner with the Head of Talent and Chief Inclusion Officer to shape enterprise-wide development priorities that support business performance, leadership readiness, and career growth.

You will design and execute core development practices, advance succession planning, and create scalable tools and materials to empower leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years of progressive HR/learning and development leadership experience in complex organizations.
• Experience designing and scaling enterprise-wide development solutions.
• Experience with assessment tools, coaching, instructional design, and talent analytics.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise talent development priorities with senior leaders.
• Design and lead core development practices including manager enablement and career development.
• Advance talent review and succession planning with data-driven actions.
• Develop scalable frameworks, tools, and leader enablement resources.
• Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to align development with business needs.
• Use workforce insights to identify capability gaps and measure impact.
• Translate insights into executive-ready materials and dashboards.
• Embed inclusion and objectivity into programs and leadership practices.
• Lead complex development initiatives with disciplined project management.
