Job summary

Christkindlmarkt Dublin, Ohio is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee vendors, day-to-day operations, retail and facilities needs, and serve as liaison with municipal and emergency services.

You will assist with product ordering, inventory, scheduling, and end-of-day reporting, help develop market layout with the CEO, implement SOPs, manage regulatory communications, and handle basic accounting tasks for vendor billing and receipts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and tolerate cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees vendors and day-to-day operations, including retail, vendor relationships, special projects, opening and closing responsibilities, and facilities needs.
• Serves as liaison for external stakeholders, including municipal departments, building inspectors, fire and police departments, on-site security, medics, and Market partners.
• Supports retail operations by ordering products and supplies, coordinating product design and ordering, completing inventory, overseeing retail scheduling, and end-of-day reporting.
• Works with the CEO to develop Market layout, optimize visitor and vendor experience, establish annual budget timelines, and implement SOPs.
• Assists with compliance communications, including insurance providers, Health Department requirements, alcohol licensure, and other regulatory organizations.
• Performs accounting-related duties, including tracking, uploading, filing, and reconciling receipts and expenses, assisting with vendor billing, and serving as the point of contact for Point of Sale system setup, navigation, reporting, and vendor billing.
• Offers creativity and hands-on support to help develop new facility ideas.
