Job summary

Action Industries in Strongsville, Ohio is seeking a Marketplace Operations Specialist for a part-time, hybrid role (25–30 hours/week). You’ll manage orders, inventory, and vendor interactions across marketplaces like Amazon, Home Depot, and eBay, ensuring accurate processing and timely invoicing.

You’ll work with ERP systems to keep data aligned, track shipments, resolve exceptions, and support growth through better processes and compliance. A hands-on, detail-focused operator will fit well.

Qualifications

• Experience with orders, inventory, transactions or similar detail-sensitive processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and follow established processes.
• Ownership and follow-through to solve problems.
• Comfort learning new software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and invoice marketplace orders accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate between marketplace portals and ERP to keep order data current.
• Enter tracking, process cancellations, and verify shipped quantities.
• Review inventory against open orders and flag potential fulfillment issues.
• Support marketplace compliance and maintain account health.
• Assist with Amazon inbound shipments, shortage investigations and claims.
• Process returns, refunds, replacements and other marketplace exceptions.
• Respond to customer questions across channels (Amazon, Home Depot, eBay, etc.).
• Serve as backup for Action Direct when needed.
• Maintain clear SOPs as marketplace requirements change.
• Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements.
• Support marketplace sales growth by moving new products/listings through requirements.
