Veeco Instruments Inc. seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to manage onboarding and HR operations for a growing North American team.

You will partner with recruiters and HR partners to ensure a seamless new-hire experience, prepare equipment, and set up systems so new hires can start on day one. Based in Plainview, NY, this hybrid, six-month role supports temporary staff processes, maintains data integrity across SuccessFactors and SAP, handles E-Verify and I-9, and keeps managers updated on

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience; BA/BS degree (HR preferred).
• Experience with HRIS preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding for every new hire — coordinate plans with hiring managers, arrange equipment, and make sure each person is ready to start on day one.
• Own and manage the temporary workforce process end to end — coordinating with staffing agencies and hiring managers to bring temporary workers on board, keep their records current, and manage the process through to conversion or completion.
• Keep Veeco's people data accurate and trustworthy by processing HR and employee information in SuccessFactors and SAP and maintaining data integrity across systems, including E-Verify and Weichert relocation.
• Process E-Verify and I-9 forms accurately and on time.
• Clear every new hire to start by ensuring background checks and all new-hire paperwork are complete before the start date.
• Keep hiring managers informed with timely updates on the status of their new hires' onboarding.
• Support HR projects that improve how onboarding and HR operations run.
