Job summary

Gaudenzia is hiring an Onboarding & Employee Experience Specialist to craft a welcoming, high-touch onboarding journey for new employees from offer acceptance through the first 60 days. You will partner with HR and leaders to surface barriers, drive improvements, and ensure a positive early tenure experience.

You will manage multi-state onboarding via ADP Workforce Now, coordinate start dates, and maintain proactive communication with new hires and managers to support successful integration.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in HR, communications, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Experience: 2–3 years in HR, onboarding, recruitment, or employee experience.
• Preferred HRIS/ATS, employee engagement and retention experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate onboarding experiences for new employees, hiring managers, and internal partners.
• Engage with new hires within 24 hours of offer acceptance and maintain ongoing communication.
• Identify and resolve onboarding barriers and escalate concerns as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to complete orientation and onboarding tasks.
• Communicate onboarding status with partners on incomplete requirements.
• Create a welcoming experience reflecting Gaudenzia’s mission and culture.
• Manage multi-state onboarding via ADP Workforce Now and keep policies current.
• Conduct structured new hire check-ins to assess onboarding and early engagement.
• Document outcomes, surface concerns, and drive timely follow-up.
• Elevate issues to HRBP/leader and follow through to resolution.
• Analyze feedback for trends and propose systemic onboarding improvements.
• Provide regular reporting on onboarding effectiveness and early-tenure retention risk.
