Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a License Renewal (LR) / Subsequence License Renewal (SLR) professional to support aging management and license extension activities across the U.S. nuclear fleet.

The role emphasizes translating LR/SLR commitments into implementable field plans, with potential VT inspections, and requires strong cross-functional collaboration with SME teams. The position supports a hybrid work arrangement, involving three days in the office and two remote days, and requires experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years in design/analysis of nuclear, industrial, or DOE facilities.
• Experience managing or participating in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in managing medium-to-large projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience mentoring staff engineers.
• Licensed Operator for a Utility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• License renewal & aging management implementation across NRC-regulated fleets.
• Plan and coordinate LR/SLR activities with work management and outage planning.
• Develop engineering basis documentation and maintain program basis components.
• Support NRC commitments tracking, responses, and inspection packages.
• Engage with clients and NRC as a technical SME to explain aging strategies and results.
