Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced nonprofit accounting, seeking an Accountant to serve multiple nonprofit clients both virtually and on-site. The role offers a clear path toward Controller and a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Starting base salary is $70,000 to $85,000 for a 35‑hour work week. We provide a hybrid schedule, comprehensive benefits, professional education opportunities, and opportunities for overtime bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years in public accounting or industry; 5+ years preferred.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of accounting software; QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when safe.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly financials and related analysis.
• Grant tracking and monitoring.
• Cash flow projections and monitoring.
• Preparation for outside audits.
