Job summary

RRD Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Dual Proofreader/Document Processor for the 3rd shift in our Legal Services group. You will review complex legal documents for grammar and clarity, identify formatting issues, and ensure markups align with client specifications.

This full‑time, hybrid role offers a $2.75/hour shift differential, a $16.59–$22/hour pay range, and opportunities to work with confidential materials while collaborating with the Document Services team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year proofreading experience, preferably in a legal, banking or large corporate environment
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of a legal timekeeping or job tracking system preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents for grammar and verbiage corrections
• Detect formatting and compositional errors in documents
• Check corrected proofs against mark-up for quality assurance
• Assist the Document Services team with document production and preparation
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information
• Communicate with manager and client on deadlines and issues
• Adhere to policy and client site requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
