Job summary

UCB is seeking an Account Executive - Neuromuscular for the Baltimore, MD territory. The AE will be the expert on neuromuscular practices, delivery networks, and patient populations, representing UCB in clinical communities while executing marketing and sales strategies.

This role requires building relationships with physicians, clinics, payers, and health care providers to deliver high-impact patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8+ years of field-based specialty pharmaceutical experience in sales, account management, and/or field reimbursement.
• 5+ years in a competitive specialty market segment.
• Field experience with Buy-and-Bill medical benefits, Specialty Pharmacy, and HUB delivery models.
• Verifiable record of sustained high sales performance.
• Experience with successful product launches.
• Comfortable spending up to 40% of time traveling with overnight travel required or based on territory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Exceed territory sales objectives with ethics and integrity.
• Advocate for Rare Disease patients and support physicians, pharmacists, and other health care providers.
• Create and execute strategic business plans for the local market.
• Master disease states and patient journeys relevant to the territory.
• Expand expertise of treating and referring physicians, payers, hospitals, and pharmacies.
• Maintain payer relationships to optimize coverage and affordability for patients.
• Collaborate with payer access to ensure up-to-date information for stakeholders.
