Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 2–5 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation documents.
• Experience participating in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Familiarity with bad faith claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officers.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners and team to advance case objectives with efficiency.
