MDS Staffing's client, a leading international law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Miami, FL. The role is hybrid.

Ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with honors, Florida Bar admission in good standing, and 2–5 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage, with strong research and writing skills. Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 2–5 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents.
• Experience participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Familiarity with bad faith, CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O.
• Exceptional legal research and writing; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections for litigation prep.
• Engage with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives.
