Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Education from approved medical assistant program or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years as a medical assistant preferred.
• EMR experience preferred (Athena a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming and prep for provider visits.
• Record vital signs and enter into EMR accurately.
• Obtain patient history and insurance information; verify eligibility.
• Schedule appointments and testing per practice protocols.
• Handle administrative duties and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
