Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical office, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA preferred
• Experience with EMR systems (PointClickCare or similar) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic communication platforms
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review patient charts prior to scheduled visits and ensure relevant clinical information is available.
• Review patient histories and medication lists in the EMR to support clinician encounters.
• Assist APRNs with documentation, notes, and administrative tasks for timely patient encounters.
• Coordinate and maintain patient schedules; communicate changes to facility staff.
• Support documentation, chart preparation, and provider scheduling; ensure timely follow-up items.
