Job summary

Psych Health Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to APRNs in hospital and post-acute settings. The hybrid role requires travel to Merritt Island 1-2 times per week and remote workflow support.

The ideal candidate will manage charts, EMR data, and scheduling with HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities include chart preparation, coordinating follow-ups, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review patient charts prior to visits.
• Review EMR data, medication lists, and hospitalizations.
