Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Mechanical (Finite Element) Simulation Engineer to drive design decisions through advanced FEA/CFD techniques. You will model mechanical, thermal, and reliability scenarios for boards, enclosures, and systems, collaborating across design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 2–4 years of simulation experience, with strong ANSYS knowledge and a solid grasp of materials behavior and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with engineering simulation tools, especially ANSYS.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and materials behavior.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, thermal, and reliability simulations using FEA tools.
• Develop and maintain simulation models for components and systems.
• Identify reliability risks and optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Interpret test results and recommend corrective actions.
• Support root cause investigations related to product reliability.
• Evaluate material properties and failure mechanisms to improve robustness.
