Sargent & Lundy seeks a Drafter 3 who will support mechanical design teams by preparing and updating detailed CAD drawings and 3D layouts for Oil & Gas and Power projects. The role requires converting markups into precise deliverables while adhering to company standards and project constraints.

The candidate will engage in field activities, ensure accuracy, and collaborate across disciplines to produce timely design packages in a hybrid office setting in Midland, TX.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent in drafting/CAD with relevant field experience.
• At least 1 year of drafting experience in industrial mechanical design.
• Proficiency with CAD and 3D layout tools; familiarity with mechanical general arrangements.

Mansioni

• Prepare, revise, and maintain complex drawings and layouts using CAD and 3D tools.
• Incorporate engineering markups into project drawings and deliverables.
• Support mechanical design teams in developing 3D physical layout drawings.
• Apply drafting standards while meeting project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Assist with field activities: measurements, tie-ins, as-builts, data collection at facilities.
• Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure timely design deliverables.
