Axon is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to drive product development from concept to manufacturing in a hybrid Sterling, VA setting. You will own mechanical design, prototyping, and performance validation across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring strong CAD skills and hands-on experience with hardware systems, CAD tools, and prototyping in a fast-paced environment. This role supports hybrid onsite collaboration with strong emphasis on documentation and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design and system integration with advanced hardware.
• Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development from concept to manufacturing while meeting durability standards.
• Lead ideation of architectural concepts for subsystems and system-level designs.
• Build and analyze high-fidelity prototypes.
• Perform detailed mechanical analysis including FEA and tolerance analysis.
• Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders.
• Document and manage design specs and production processes.
