Job summary

System One is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer for a contract assignment in Mahwah, NJ. You will support project managers, coordinate activities, track action items, and communicate with cross-functional teams on capital projects.

The role blends office work with floor exposure, offering learning through the project lifecycle and growing ownership of tasks as you progress, with a hybrid work model and standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical or related).
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships and co-ops considered).
• Strong communication and organizational skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in capital projects by coordinating activities, tracking actions, and communicating with cross-functional teams.
• Attend meetings, assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT and validation activities, and maintain project documentation.
• Spend time in office and on the manufacturing floor, learning the project lifecycle and progressively taking ownership of tasks.
