Job summary

TEKsystems in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Sr. Production Support/Application Support Analyst for a long-term contract. The role ensures availability and reliability of critical production applications across LOBs, with hybrid work requiring three onsite days in Jersey City.

The candidate will monitor, manage incidents, handle requests, and coordinate DR/REC testing while delivering regular stakeholder updates and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring and incident management for production apps.
• Strong scripting skills and knowledge of PHP.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Resolve user and batch job issues for critical apps.
• Create and update support documentation.
• Lead incident management and triage when BAU is impacted.
• Generate regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate disaster recovery testing.
• Mentor team members and monitor daily batch processing.
• Perform capacity management for scoped applications.
