Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, or financial reporting for a publicly traded company.
• CPA required; Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A.
• Experience with statements of cash flows, earnings per share, and stockholders' equity.
• Ability to research accounting literature and translate complex matters into clear conclusions and disclosures.
• Experience with complex ERP and consolidation systems preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear communication and attention to detail; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reporting package for a parent company, with footnotes, cash flows, and equity schedules.
• Manage recurring reporting to banks, including disclosures and covenants.
• Assist with SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, Proxy Statements, registrations) including XBRL coordination.
• Assist with statutory reporting for international subsidiaries with accounting and external auditors.
• Research technical accounting matters and prepare memoranda.
• Monitor new accounting standards and SEC regulations; assess reporting implications.
• Maintain disclosure controls and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and business partners to inform statements and disclosures.
• Work with external auditors and leadership to address critical issues promptly.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline reporting and data analysis.
