Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager - Financial Reporting to lead internal financial reporting activities for multiple business units. The role supports BU Controllers and external teams, driving process improvements and ensuring timely, accurate reporting while interacting with global partners.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP expertise, and CPA/CMA preferred. Hybrid remote work with in-office needs near Irving, TX; ERP experience (JDE/SAP) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA and/or Masters preferred.
• CPA or CMA certifications are highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report the financial results of assigned business units to the BU Controller and external reporting teams.
• Develop resolutions to complex problems requiring creativity.
• Maintain accounting records and reports including general ledger and financial statements.
• Analyze balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow variances.
• Support dashboards and compliance with external audit and SOX requirements.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and analytics to improve reporting.
