Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
• Strong communication skills across diverse groups.
• Ability to foster teamwork in a collaborative spirit to resolve difficult matters.
• Ability to identify and implement solutions that improve inventory and asset control, cost containment and minimize program deficiencies and resource waste.
• Understanding of financial management systems used by Maine state government.

Responsibilities

• Advise client agency staff in asset controls including the procurement process and budgetary management of assets.
• Serve as the central management point of contact for adherence to policy and guidelines from central control agencies to ensure assets are procured, protected and tracked in a professional and auditable manner.
• Conduct extensive research to ensure accuracy in critical asset record keeping.
• Support hybrid in-office/remote work schedule as applicable.
