Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to monitor stores for theft and fraud, documenting findings and supporting investigations. The role collaborates with LP leaders and external partners to resolve incidents while maintaining a safe shopping environment that aligns with our values.

The position requires 1–2 years in loss prevention or security, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team setting. Hybrid in-office/remote work is supported at select locations.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in loss prevention, retail, or security.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners including law enforcement.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances, exits, sales floor, and checkout areas to identify theft or fraudulent behavior.
• Observe and engage individuals exhibiting dishonest actions to prevent loss.
• Document incidents with accuracy and provide reports to leadership and Investigations teams.
• Partner with leadership and law enforcement to resolve theft cases and support apprehensions when authorized.
• Assist with trespass enforcement for repeat offenders per policy.
