Job summary

Associated Mortgage Bankers, Inc. invites a skilled Lock Desk Analyst to join its mortgage operations in Miami. You will own day-to-day lock desk activities, applying pricing adjustments and managing investor lock confirmations while supporting Loan Officers with pricing questions.

You will also lead Optimal Blue administration, configure desk rules, and collaborate with IT/automation teams to streamline workflows and improve the end-to-end process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on lock desk or secondary marketing experience at a mortgage lender.
• Strong working knowledge of Optimal Blue and Encompass.
• Solid understanding of locks, extensions, relocks, pricing adjustments, and investor lock confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Process new locks, extensions, relocks, and lock cancellations accurately and on time.
• Apply and verify pricing adjustments, LLPAs, and approved price exceptions.
• Obtain, review, and reconcile investor lock confirmations.
• Monitor lock expirations across the pipeline and proactively flag upcoming expirations to Loan Officers and Operations.
• Keep lock data in Encompass accurate and consistent with Optimal Blue and investor records.
• Respond quickly to Loan Officer pricing and lock questions throughout the day.
• Maintain clear documentation of lock activity, exceptions, and approvals.
• Build out Optimal Blue settings, including lock desk rules and product setup.
• Draft and maintain written procedures for lock desk processes.
• Identify manual steps that can be automated or simplified.
