Job summary

Align Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative I to support daily loan funding, servicing, and documentation processes for consumer, mortgage, and home equity loans. This role emphasizes accuracy, member service, and adherence to policy in a hybrid Lowell, MA environment.

The position offers a base pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with standard hours Monday through Friday and optional on-site days.

Qualifications

• One to three years of financial institution, lending, loan servicing, member service, banking, or related experience preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with members or customers in a financial services environment is beneficial.
• A high school education or GED. Additional education or training in banking, lending, finance, business, or a related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fund approved loans with complete documentation and accurate funding instructions.
• Perform routine loan servicing and payments processing.
• Process paid-loan documentation and maintain collateral records.
• Handle daily mail, payments, payoff activity, and servicing reports within deadlines.
• Answer member questions on loan payments, balances, and payoff information; escalate complex issues.
