Job summary

Align Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Lending Generalist to monitor the loan portfolio, ensure compliance, and support regulatory reporting from Lowell, MA. The role requires collaboration across lending, risk, and partner teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing annuals, flood insurance management, data extraction for HMDA/CRA, and document retention. This hybrid position offers on-site work one to two days weekly.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• Ability to collaborate across Commercial lending, risk management, CUSO partners, and other areas of the credit union.
• Knowledge of underwriting, financial statement and tax return analysis, cash flow, global cash flow, debt service coverage, and pro forma analysis helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Commercial Loan portfolio and track annual reviews.
• Verify flood insurance coverage and manage force placement if needed.
• Review transactions and remits to ensure correct interest and fees.
• Prepare data extracts for HMDA, CRA, LID, and call report.
• Maintain loan portfolio tickers and coordinate updates with borrowers and lenders.
• Field member communications and escalate complex requests to improve turn times.
• Assist with data gathering for audits and exams.
• Maintain electronic filing system for all loan documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
