Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Client Processing Specialist in Houston to support complex loan and client processing activities within an early-stage Loans Enablement/Transaction Processing team. You will review loan documentation, resolve cash and position breaks, and serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires reviewing credit agreements and loan documentation, understanding financial products, and ensuring accurate processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Experience within loan operations, credit operations, transaction processing, or financial services operations.
• Ability to review and interpret credit agreements and loan documentation.
• Understanding of financial products including loans, credit facilities, and securities.
• Experience with loan processing platforms or financial systems.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process and support complex loan and financial transactions, including both automated and manual activity
• Review and interpret credit agreements, loan documentation, and transaction instructions
• Perform reconciliations and investigate cash breaks, position differences, and account discrepancies
• Maintain client and transaction records accurately and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders regarding transaction processing and operational issues
• Investigate and resolve complex processing issues, escalating when appropriate
• Partner with technology and systems teams to address system-related issues and improve processing efficiency
• Provide product knowledge and technical assistance to internal teams
• Review the work of other operations professionals and assist with escalated issues
• Perform designated review and approval responsibilities
• Identify potential operational risks and ensure transactions are processed accurately and within established deadlines
