Job summary

Benesch seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its New York office. The hybrid role focuses on supporting trial teams in large-scale litigation, managing discovery, and coordinating complex document production.

The ideal candidate has ABA-certified paralegal credentials and 7–10 years of AmLaw-level experience, with strong technical skills in e-discovery, case management, and MS Office. Willingness to travel and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.
• 7–10 years of litigation experience in an AmLaw 150 firm or specialist litigation practice area.
• Experience with all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery and trial.
• Strong knowledge of federal court procedures and electronic filing systems (CM/ECF, PACER).
• Proficiency with e-filing portals like One Legal, File & ServeXpress, Odyssey; familiarity with Opus 2, TextMap, CaseMap, iManage, Everlaw, Relativity, Trial Director; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and analyze routine legal documents.
• Manage large-scale discovery and e-discovery matters.
• Provide hands-on operational litigation technology support.
• Organize and maintain case files; assist with depositions and trials.
• Prepare for trials, manage exhibits, and assist with presenting evidence.
• Coordinate with courts, clients, counsel, and vendors; ensure timely filings.
