Job summary

Matterpointe, a respected mid-sized litigation firm in Lower Manhattan, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its trial team. You will provide end-to-end support on active cases, coordinating with attorneys, clients, and experts to ensure precise filings and efficient discovery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of litigation experience, strong knowledge of New York procedures and e-filing, and a bachelor’s degree (paralegal certificate preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience in a law-firm environment.
• Strong understanding of New York court procedures and e-filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence for attorney review.
• Organize and manage case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court filings (state and federal).
• Assist attorneys during hearings and trial preparation.
• Maintain databases and e-discovery systems.
