Job summary
Benesch seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a fast-paced team in New York. The role involves handling large-scale litigation from start to finish, including trial support and e-discovery, while coordinating with trial attorneys across levels.
The ideal candidate will have ABA-approved paralegal certification and 8+ years in AmLaw 150 settings, with strong CM/ECF/PACER knowledge and a client-centric approach.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certification (ABA-approved) and 8+ years of AmLaw 150 litigation experience.
- Experience with all stages of litigation and trials.
- Strong knowledge of CM/ECF and PACER.
- Experience with e-filing portals like One Legal and File & ServeXpress.
- Proficiency with Opus 2, TextMap, CaseMap, iManage, Everlaw, Relativity, Trial Director; MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and analyze routine legal documents.
- Manage large-scale discovery and e-discovery.
- Provide litigation technology support.
- Organize and maintain case files.
- Assist with depositions and trial preparation.
- Prepare for trials and travel as needed.
- Review depositions and summarize; manage witness affidavits.
- File pleadings and manage e-filings in CM/ECF/PACER.
- Coordinate with vendors and docketing.
- Meet billable goals.
