Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to support case planning at a prestigious law firm in Manhattan. This hybrid role involves meeting with attorneys and clients, drafting legal documents, filing motions, and assisting in discovery and trial preparation. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of paralegal experience in New York, a required paralegal certificate, and familiarity with NY law. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring attendance on-site twice a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as general litigation paralegal in NY.
• Paralegal certificate required.
• Experience with deposition prep, trial prep, motions in NY.

Responsibilities

• Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases.
• Draft legal documents including routine case pleadings.
• File motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
• Assist attorneys in all phases of discovery and document collection.
• Research and analyze statutes, regulations, and legal sources.
