Job summary

SearchPointNY in New York, NY is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support large-scale and complex matters. You will manage all aspects of litigation cases, including document organization, deposition and trial preparation, privilege logs, court filings, and legal research. The position is full-time and permanent with a hybrid schedule (three days onsite).

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST. Salary includes up to $150k plus overtime and a discretionary bonus, with full benefits and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or ABA Paralegal Certification required; BigLaw experience preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience for Mid-Level; 10+ years for Senior-Level.
• Trial attendance and support experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, document management systems (iManage), and legal research/court platforms (Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, PacerPro).
• Strong understanding of the litigation process to anticipate attorney needs, handle court filings, and maintain case calendars.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills with high attention to detail and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Ability to travel as needed and work overtime (including nights, weekends, and out-of-town trials).

Responsibilities

• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and maintain organized hard-copy and electronic case files, binders, and databases.
• Oversee document productions, including client collection, third-party processing, chain of custody tracking, review procedures, and privilege log preparation.
• Perform legal/factual research, cite-checking, and document formatting per Local and Individual Court Rules for e-filing.
• Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials by organizing exhibits, evidence, demonstratives, and managing trial logistics.
• Meet annual billable target (1500 hours) while performing work efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Litigation Support, Managing Clerk’s Office), external vendors, and train/mentor junior paralegals.
