Job summary

Hall Render is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, document preparation, discovery coordination, and trial support.

Ideal candidates hold a paralegal degree (or equivalent), a paralegal certification is preferred, and have at least three years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. The role is hybrid with three days in the Indianapolis office.

Qualifications

• Paralegal degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three years’ paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Knowledge of court procedures and document management.
• Experience with ECF platforms is preferred.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal and factual research under attorney supervision.
• Summarize case law, depositions, and research findings.
• Support discovery processes, including document collection and review.
• Organize and manage ESI databases.
• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
• Assist in trial preparation and deposition preparation.
• File documents with state and federal courts and deadlines.
• Maintain organized case files and coordinate with clients and third parties.
