Job summary

Saul Ewing LLP is seeking a Litigation Docketing Specialist to manage the firm’s docketing across matters, ensuring timely and accurate processing using rules-based software. The role reports to the Senior Docketing Manager and offers hybrid work options.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of docketing experience, a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, and proficiency in Milana, CompuLaw or CourtAlert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; extensive docketing experience considered
• Minimum of five years of litigation docketing experience
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate by monitoring docketing inboxes and coordinate with case teams
• Review docketing requests and calculate deadlines accurately
• Research dates to supplement automated calculations
• Update docket entries and perform quality control of work product
• Generate and distribute Docket Reports and maintain knowledge of rules
• Provide guidance on docketing policies to attorneys and staff
• Work with attorneys, paralegals, and assistants to analyze scheduling and deadlines
• Work independently and with the centralized docketing team
• Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion
