Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks a Litigation Docket Specialist to support its litigation practice firmwide. The role maintains the docket system, ensures deadlines are captured from filings, and provides detailed docket reports to case teams.

You will train staff on docket software, answer calendar-related questions, and research complex issues before escalation. Hybrid in-office/remote work with Seattle and other hubs, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal docketing and calendaring is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and legal databases.

Responsabilités

• Maintains the computerized docket system for litigation matters across multiple courts.
• Reviews correspondence and filings for deadlines and performs extensive data entry into the calendaring database.
• Manages complex docketing tasks such as scheduling orders.
• Researches questions from attorneys and staff regarding deadlines, calculations, and local rules.
• Responds to requests regarding calendared events and court procedures.
• References court codes and statutes, and uses LexisNexis and Westlaw as needed.
• Enters parameters, runs, prints, and distributes reports.
• Prioritizes and processes requests.
