Job summary

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP seeks a Litigation Docket Specialist to support the firm’s litigation practice across multiple jurisdictions. The role focuses on maintaining the docket system, ensuring timely deadlines, and providing detailed reports to case teams.

You will train staff on the docket software, respond to inquiries about calendars, and research complex issues before escalation. This position reports to Legal Practice Support Management and offers a hybrid in‑office/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with deadlines calculations.
• Experience reviewing pleadings, filings, and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the computerized docket system for litigation attorneys across jurisdictions.
• Reviews correspondence, pleadings, discovery, filings and deposition notices for deadlines and data entry.
• Manages complex docketing tasks such as scheduling orders.
• Researches questions from attorneys and staff regarding deadlines, local rules and procedures.
• Responds to requests regarding calendared events and court procedures; updates the docket calendar as needed.
• References court codes and statutes and uses LexisNexis and Westlaw when appropriate.
• Enters parameters, runs and distributes reports.
• Prioritizes and processes requests.
