Job summary

The Lifelong Learning Program Coordinator at the University of Utah supports planning, execution, and evaluation of personal enrichment classes offered through Lifelong Learning. This role ensures smooth classroom operations, oversees materials, processes instructor payments, and delivers excellent customer service to instructors and students.

Office is hybrid with in-person and remote work; schedule includes evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) plus 6 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) plus 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience in purchasing, invoicing, and class/program logistics is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work with instructors and students in a community program setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with instructors and colleagues to procure class materials and manage costs.
• Process instructor payroll and payments in accordance with university policies and deadlines.
• Assist in catalog creation, maintenance, and distribution for Lifelong Learning classes.
• Support class setup, enrollment management, and student/instructor communications.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team to implement program improvements and marketing efforts.
