Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Life Benefit Case Manager I to review and adjudicate Group Life Insurance claims.

You will work under supervision to handle more complex cases, including high-dollar and dependent calculations, while delivering accurate decisions in a virtual team environment. Hybrid work model allows in-office collaboration at least 2 days per week, with a focus on professional development, mentorship, and process improvement.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of claims experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with professionalism and compassion to gather data for eligibility.
• Adjudicates claims accurately and fairly in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Calculates complex benefit payments, including interest where applicable.
• Meets quality, productivity and customer service standards for claim reviews and decisions.
• Engages in Continuous Improvement forums to identify process enhancements.
• Documents analysis and decisions in the on-line environment.
