Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC seeks a Learning & Development Specialist on a contract basis to design, develop, and deliver multi-modal training. The role is hybrid, with onsite Tuesdays and three days on site overall, in Charlotte, NC or NYC, NY.

The candidate will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create technical content and drive employee learning impact. The role requires 1–3 years of training development experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with new tech and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience developing and facilitating virtual and in-person training and learning solutions.
• Prior customer service or project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write and present clear, engaging technical instructions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Comfortable learning and using new technology platforms.
• Experience with or knowledge of learning management system administration preferred.
• Creative and innovative mindset with an interest in improving user engagement and technology adoption.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps and assess learning requirements.
• Design and develop multi-modal learning solutions.
• Write instructional materials for technical learning, including step-by-step documentation.
• Curate and customize partner and vendor content to meet specific business needs.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor-led programs and presentations for a variety of audiences.
• Draft company-wide communications regarding technical changes and updates.
• Collaborate effectively within a highly collaborative team environment.
• Develop high-quality templates and processes for learning solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends to ensure learning solutions remain innovative and modern.
• Evaluate learning solutions for effectiveness and impact in partnership with the User Experience team.
