Job summary

Common Arts in Long Beach seeks a Learning and Development Manager to lead training and performance efforts, partnering with principals and firm leaders to shape growth and client value. Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive leadership in training, learning & development, organizational development, or HR.
• Proven ability to design and implement programs that measurably improve organizational performance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; familiarity in ADP and other HRIS/analytics tools.
• Experience aligning development strategies with corporate growth goals and operational priorities.
• Commitment to developing people to strengthen firm capability and industry reputation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize training and performance programs across locations to drive consistency and impact.
• Collaborate with People Services, Finance, and Talent teams to maintain talent budget.
• Develop and implement annual performance programs using our HRIS.
• Gather participation and effectiveness data to inform decisions on training and development.
• Coordinate leadership development initiatives, including workshops, coaching, and retreats.
• Publish a recurring training newsletter and track licensure and credential progress.
