Job summary

Northern Impact LLC is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead organization-wide learning, performance, and career-development initiatives. The hybrid role is based in Long Beach, California, with occasional travel as needed.

The position partners with senior leaders and HR, Finance, and Talent teams to design scalable programs across disciplines and locations, translating business needs into measurable development strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, training, talent management, or related HR discipline.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/professional-services firm is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate scalable learning programs.
• Experience with performance management, career pathing, leadership development, facilitation, and coaching.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting/people analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve learning, development, and performance programs aligned with organizational priorities.
• Partner with leaders to assess capability needs and create tailored learning solutions for teams and individuals.
• Manage annual performance-management and employee check-in processes across the organization.
• Develop and administer the learning and talent-development budget with internal partners.
• Establish metrics and analytics to measure participation, effectiveness, skill growth, and business impact.
