Job summary

The Mom Project is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist on a contract basis to support business needs. The role is hybrid, with work options in Charlotte, NC or NYC, NY. Three days onsite each week, with anchor on Tuesdays.

Responsibilities include needs analyses, designing learning solutions, creating technical instructional content, and coordinating with vendors. You will facilitate programs and draft communications while collaborating with a UX team to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, instructional design, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience designing and delivering both virtual and in-person training programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps and assess learning requirements.
• Design and develop multi-modal learning solutions.
• Write instructional materials for technical learning with step-by-step documentation.
• Curate partner and vendor content to meet business needs.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor-led programs for diverse audiences.
• Draft company-wide communications on technical changes and updates.
• Collaborate within a highly collaborative team environment.
• Create high-quality templates and processes for learning solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends to keep learning solutions innovative.
