Job summary

Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company) is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Facilitator and Instructional Designer to deliver engaging programs that advance employee and leadership development. The role blends in-person and remote delivery, with one day onsite weekly and statewide travel for on-site sessions as needed.

You will design learner-centered materials, apply ADDIE or SAM, collaborate with SMEs, and measure outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum facilitating instructor-led training.
• Experience designing and developing instructor-led and blended learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience facilitating DEIB and sensitive workplace topics.
• Experience delivering management and leadership development programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office and virtual platforms (Teams/Zoom).
• Strong organizational skills with multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led training in-person and virtual; statewide travel as needed.
• Facilitate leadership development, communication, emotional intelligence, and inclusive practices.
• Foster a psychologically safe, engaging learning environment.
• Manage group dynamics and handle challenging questions and discussions.
• Design and develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, and job aids.
• Apply ADDIE or SAM to create effective learning experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and validate accuracy.
• Evaluate feedback and metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide observations to program leaders on engagement and effectiveness.
• Maintain attendance, evaluation, and training records.
