Job summary

Southern California Edison is hiring a Learning & Development Advisor to shape the HR Enterprise Learning & Development strategy, oversee instructional design teams, and drive enterprise-wide learning solutions across leadership, employee, system, and technical training programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with client training leads, program governance, and the oversight of instructional designers through all phases: analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in curriculum and instructional design as well as implementation and management of training programs and learning initiatives.
• Experience with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation).
• Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
• Experience consulting with management on training initiatives.
• Experience with automation of processes and resources.
• Experience developing and deploying training programs.
• Experience with leadership, employee, technical, safety or regulatory compliance areas.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels including executives.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coaches team leads on talent development, team engagement, retention, and team leadership.
• Delivers internal training sessions and prepares training materials.
• Creates learning resources including presentation decks and knowledge resources.
• Manages day-to-day delivery of learning and development activities and builds stakeholder relationships.
• Analyzes learning and development activity to inform new solutions.
• Implements learning programs and measures their impact with defined metrics.
• Ensures protection of company assets and proper handling of sensitive information.
