Job summary

Community Transit seeks an internal consultant to drive organizational development by coaching, facilitating teams, and designing leadership programs aligned with the agency's mission.

The role assesses team effectiveness, guides leaders through change, and partners with Human Resources to develop workforce development initiatives, measure impact, and promote a healthy, inclusive workplace culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of professional experience in organizational development, leadership development, change management, coaching, or a similar field.
• Master's degree and professional coaching/change management certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams and individuals to enhance self-awareness, leadership skills, collaboration, and performance.
• Support leaders and teams during change, role shifts, and conflicts using coaching methods.
• Facilitate conversations, resolve conflicts, and build trust to improve team effectiveness.
• Design, deliver, and enhance leadership development programs and resources.
• Collaborate with HR to identify leadership and workforce development needs and measure program impact.
